Albert Lloyd Wolfkiel passed away on December 8, 2025, from a rare aggressive cancer.
Albert Wolfkiel, the beloved Husband, Father, son, and brother was born June 29, 1965, in Walla Walla , WA to Karen E and Charles Lloyd Wolfkiel. As Albert grew up, the family, his brothers Joe, Walter, and Russell moved around from AK, MN, VA, WA, and OR. When Albert was playing baritone horn in the marching band at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, OR, he marched in the Rose Bowl parade in 1983.
Albert earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, Pullman, WA. After graduation, Albert moved to California to work as a Computer Engineer with the Navy in Port Hueneme for 37 years. He was awaiting retirement at the end of 2025. Albert earned his Professional Engineers License for the State of California in 1995, and retained it through 2025.
Albert taught computer sciences at Oxnard Community College for many years where he enjoyed sharing his knowledge.
Albert made his home in Camarillo in a tightly knit neighborhood. He met Linda Seeney in 1991 and they married in Hawaii in 2007. They have 3 beautiful children, Alyssa, Ariana, and Andrew.
Albert’s hobbies included a love of computers, computer games, Pokémon Go, and roller coasters. Albert joined the American Coaster Enthusiasts where his children often joined him on roller coaster adventures all over the world.
Albert is survived by his children, Alyssa, Ariana, and Andrew, his parents Charles Lloyd and Karen E. Wolfkiel, brothers Joseph (Janice), Russell (Yumiko) and his brother Charles Walter preceded him in death. His wife Linda died January 30, 2026 due to complications from surgery.
Albert will be missed by many. A celebration of life for Albert and his wife, Linda, will be held June 13, 2026 at Trinity Presbyterian Piper Hall in Camarillo starting at 1 pm.
