Alberto “Nachito” Torres, born September 28, 1926 in Villa Hidalgo Zacatecas, was called home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2020 at the age of 94 years old. He lived a long happy life and spent his final days surrounded by family as he went peacefully in his sleep.
For 25 years he worked and lived at Limoneira Ranch. He retired and spent many years in Tijuana, B.C. where he enjoyed his time with family and friends. He returned to Santa Paula in 2012 where he spent the remainder of his years watching his family grow and looked forward to his Sunday card game with his granddaughter, Christina.
He is proceeded in death by his sons Humberto, Mario, Gustavo and Javier Torres, his great grandsons Gabriel Hernandez, Lil Ernie Guzman, and Angel Torres. He is survived by his wife Ramona Torres, whom he was married to for 73 years, his daughters Elena (Cesar) Osorio, Rosa (Raul) Rodriguez, Esmeralda (Robert) Barrozo, Norma (Mike) Robles and Rosemary Barrajas, 21 grandkids, 37 great grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids, his brother Rogelio (Carmela) Torres, and sister Guadalupe (Pascual) Aranda. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
