Ambrocia De Guzman Latag

Ambrocia “Alele” De Guzman Latag, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024, in Oxnard, CA. She was born on December 7, 1943, in San Raphael, Bulacan, Philippines to Amado and Feliciano Canoza De Guzman. She married Ruben Latag in 1966 and was a loving mother to her two children, Allen and Ruby. 

Alele was passionate about gardening and always filling her home with the aromatic smells of her delicious Filipino dishes and sweet and addictive bibingka. 

She is survived by her husband, Ruben; her daughter and son-in-law, Ruby and Alvin Valenzona; her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Bon Latag; her three grandchildren, AJ Capistrano, Austin Latag, and Nicki Valenzona; and her last surviving sibling of 8, Lucy De Guzman Ortiz.
