Angel Antonio Aguilar

Angel "Gato" Aguilar, age 44, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of November 5, 2023, after a very brief illness, surrounded by his family.

Angel was born on September 13, 1979, in Oxnard, CA, to Irma Nieves.

Raised in El Rio, CA, he grew up playing football, and his love for the game never left. He was a diehard Raiders fan through and through. It is certain he celebrated their recent win with his favorite beer, Tecate.

His boisterous laugh, right after he cracked a joke, will forever echo with the stories we will tell.

Seeing his sparkling green eyes and a huge smile that made you smile without even knowing why he was so happy, all to show you the next adventure he wanted to share, will forever be a memory as if you were there too.

His false attitude of 'I don't like to be around kids,' but always hearing him say "come here mija/mijo- Tio Angel will give it to you," followed up with a loving kiss and engulfing embrace that continues to be felt.

His love to get his boogie on to his favorite music, because "everyone else's sucked," those familiar tunes will take us back to a time he was "getting down."

Angel was stoic, but his love for his "Net" was something he could never hide.

Angel loved his Mama, brothers, and sister.

Angel has left his family, friends, and loved ones far too soon, but the lasting impression and memories of him will bring peace and solace in knowing he is resting in paradise.

Angel is survived by the love of his life, Lynette "Net," mother Irma, brothers Santos (Patricia), Braulio "Ray," and sister Katrina (Darryn).

Viewing services will be held at noon on November 24, 2023, at the Perez Family Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Rd. Camarillo, CA 93010.
