Casildo Valdez Quinones

Casildo "Cachi" Quinones, 87, of Somis/Camarillo, CA was born in Zacatecas, Mexico to parents Trinidad and Cruz Quinones. He came to the United States in 1952 and married Aurora Quinones in 1962. He and Mrs. Quinones were owners of the Somis Market & Cafe for 33 years. He was very proud of the business and enjoyed having conversations with his many customers and friends. Casildo was well known and liked by many. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching movies and his favorite actor/musician was Antonio Aguilar. He was also a loyal Dodgers fan and was excited when they won the 2020 World Series. He loved his two chihuahuas, Patol and Taco, very much. Casildo was a man who loved making others happy. His charisma and approachable demeanor made others feel comfortable. He had a smile that would light up a room. Casildo is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit Casildo at his final resting place at Santa Clara Cemetery.
