Christina "Christy" Wirth

Christina “Christy” Wirth was born on October 28, 1955 in Moorpark, CA. She was the second of three daughters born to Katherine and James Houser. After her father’s passing, her mother remarried Orville Johnson and had her brother Mike Johnson. She went on to marry Gary Wirth and have two children, Crystal and Jimmy.

Christy loved her town of Moorpark and its rich history. She loved telling stories, making people laugh with her one of a kind humor, and bringing people together over a meal. She passed surrounded by loved ones in her home in Moorpark on August 5, 2026 after a brave battle with cancer. She will be truly missed. She is survived by her children Crystal and Jimmy, and her granddaughter Alexa. Christy now rests peacefully with her husband Gary whom she missed greatly.

A service celebrating her life will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, CA on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 10 am. There will be a light reception immediately after the service, followed by the burial at 1 pm at Conejo Mountain Memorial in Camarillo, CA.
