Dennis Michael Busickio, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026, at Centennial Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by his loving family.
Dennis was born on December 8, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frank and Adrianna (Petrini) Busickio. He graduated from Moorpark High School, Class of 1967. Following graduation, Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
After returning home, Dennis married Darlene Messina, and together they raised two sons, Michael and Matthew. Although Dennis and Darlene later divorced, they remained close friends throughout his life.
Dennis later graduated from Moorpark College with a degree in Construction and Landscape Design. A hardworking and dedicated professional, he owned and operated his own landscaping and construction company for many years. After retiring, he relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dennis enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, proudly harvesting a five-point buck in Texas. He also enjoyed bowling, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and watching his grandsons play sports.
Dennis’s life was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Adrianna Busickio; his sister, Teri Jones; and his brother, Gary Busickio.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Busickio (Colleen) and Matthew Busickio; his grandchildren, Megan Schwarz (Corey), Brandon Busickio, and Brody Busickio; and his great-grandson, Stetson Schwarz.
He is also survived by Darlene Busickio, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and shared a special bond with his cousin, Anna Feadler (Steve).
