Dominic Garcia

Dominic was born at Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles, California, on June 12, 1985, the first of 4 children of Corinne R. Garcia. Dom was the proud big brother of Mark, Olivia and Jaedon. This bond endures forever. 

He is the proud Father of Layla Marie, Christian & Michael. He loved his kids dearly and cherished each moment spent with them. Beloved Godson of Tia Kika and his Unc Johnny, as well as, beloved Grandson of Grandpa Don & Nana Mary. 

Dominic’s forgiving nature, deep affection & selfless love for others leaves an imprint not easily forgotten.  His humor and smile easily recharged family and friends in seconds. His life lived challenges us to be better human beings…To challenge any obstacle with resilient inventiveness, compassionate communication, empathy & serve others who are often overlooked. He made everyone feel important because they were. His life is our roadmap. His lyrical gifts of making music and poetry of life out of thin air was shared from city to city. He cherished holding each of his children and siblings as babies. Dominic loved sharing the responsibilities of raising his siblings with his mother. He loved sharing the stage with his brother performing on stage as Snoop’s Puppy Pound in Inglewood. His talent’s innumerable Dominic loved to learn, laugh, cook, eat & was feeling at his best in the presence of family.

Dominic studied a broad spectrum of literary works & knew his Bible. Soon after it took form as foundational thought, a beginning to writing poetry and prose, comedic songwriting, skills in metaphor and rhyme, seasoned storytelling and a raw freestyle that left you vulnerable.

Dominic never asked for much and yes, Son we are Afeni & PAC.  We are forever changed-Forever grateful for your love and every positive person who was part of your journey.

In his passing we are a Witness to Grace.
