Elaine Gertrude McGovern

Elaine Gertrude McGovern (Gibson) of Moorpark, born in Chicago on June 27, 1937, died peacefully on December 27, 2018, after a battle with cancer.  While she joins the love of her life, Jimmy, she is survived by her daughters, Christine (Dennis) Swinburne and Linda (Robert) Meadows, beloved grandchildren, Justin, Andrew and Katie Swinburne and Tyler and Trevor Meadows, and her precious great-grandchild, Ezra Shelly-Swinburne. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Church in Moorpark on Friday, January 4th, beginning at 10:00 am.  Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am before Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Elaine McGovern loved many, was loved by many, and will be sorely missed.
