With grace and strength, Ellen Dewey passed away on December 11, 2025, surrounded by love. She lived a life defined by devotion to family, generosity to others, and an unwavering sense of independence that inspired all who knew her.

A loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother, Ellen was the heart of her family. Her love was steady and unconditional, expressed through her presence, her wisdom, and her quiet acts of care. She took great pride in her family and found her greatest joy in time spent together, celebrating life's milestones both large and small.

Known for her quick wit and welcoming nature, Ellen brought laughter wherever she went. Fiercely independent and strong-willed, she lived life on her own terms, yet always with elegance, kindness, and grace. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel seen and valued, offering calm reassurance and thoughtful guidance when it was needed most.

A natural peacemaker, Ellen believed deeply in compassion, understanding, and bringing people together. Her philanthropic spirit reflected her generous heart-she gave freely of her time, resources, and love, always seeking ways to uplift others and leave the world better than she found it.

She was a beloved sister and aunt, a loyal friend, and a steady source of strength for many. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.
