Emily Velasco

In loving memory of our mother, Emily Velasco, who passed away on August 5, 2023.

Emily was a loving mother of Stephanie (Larry) Morales and Melissa Lamborn. Emily will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person always putting her family’s needs before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration especially in her strong faith. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched and prayed for.

Our mother was talented with her crotchet. She blessed many babies with handmade blankets, dresses and sweaters. Our mom will be remembered for her love of the show I Love Lucy. She always said Lucy reminded her of her mother.

Our mother instilled in us hard work and always doing what was right.

Emily is survived by her daughters Stephanie and Melissa, son in law Larry Morales. Also her grandchildren Lorissa (Juan) Magdaleno, Vincent (Alexandra) Morales and Mia Lamborn, her great grandchildren, Lucas Magdaleno, Zoe and Kirra Morales and Emma Lamborn.

The family would like to thank Camarillo Healthcare Center for their amazing care of our mother.

Funeral Services will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home, 738 E. Santa Paula St, Santa Paula, Ca 93060 on August 18,2023. Viewing from 10am and service to follow at12pm. Burial will be held at Santa Clara Cemetery following services.
