Gloria Valdez Perez Donate, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, in Oxnard, California, at the age of 95.

Gloria was born on April 17, 1931, in Ventura, California, to Manuela Nellie Valdez Perez and Manuel Perez. She was raised in a close-knit family and carried throughout her life the values of faith, hard work, resilience, and devotion to family.

Gloria married the love of her life, Edward Alvara Donate, March 3rd, 1948, and together they built a loving home centered on faith, family, and enduring love. Their marriage was blessed with four children: Edward Richard Donate, Lorraine Donate Dominguez, George Ray Donate, and Steven B. Donate. Gloria devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family and took immense pride in watching it grow through the generations.

Throughout the years, Gloria lived in several California communities, including Ventura, Petaluma, and Oxnard, where she created lasting friendships and touched countless lives with her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. She was known for her welcoming heart, gentle nature, unwavering strength, and deep love for family.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Alvara Donate, who passed away in 2023; her parents, Manuela Nellie Valdez Perez and Manuel Perez; and several of her siblings, including Rudolph V. Perez, Manuel Robert "Bobby" Perez, and Frances Perez De La Torre.

She is lovingly survived by her four children, 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and family.

Gloria's greatest joy was her family. She found happiness in family gatherings, celebrations, and the simple moments spent with those she loved. Her life was a testament to the importance of family bonds, compassion, and perseverance. She leaves behind a rich legacy that will live on through the many generations she helped nurture and inspire.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew her.
