Helen Holm

Helen Marie Holm, 79, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Moorpark, California, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 9, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, Helen lived a full life, traveling and living across the globe. Known for her sassy attitude, unwavering integrity and selflessness, she cherished moments with her family and friends above all.

Helen was a dedicated, hardworking woman who enjoyed serving Moorpark High School for 25 years in a variety of roles, but mostly known as “the student store lady” for the better part of two decades.

Helen is survived by her beloved daughters, Debbie Ames and Jessica Holm-Morrow, and her brothers Paul and H.O. Eastus. Preceded in death by her loving parents, Grace and Harry Eastus, and her sister, Harriet McCullers. Helen’s legacy continues through the joy and memories she leaves behind with her family, including grandchildren and great- grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

A memorial service will be held at the end of August to honor and celebrate Helen’s remarkable life.
