Jaime Garza, 60, passed away after a brief battle with cancer, on August 7, 2025. He was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Losing him so quickly to his illness was devastating and heartbreaking for his family and friends.
Jaime was born at Saint John’s Hospital in Oxnard on October 11, 1964 to Flavio and Eva Garza. He was their third child and second son. His outgoing and friendly personality led to his enormous circle of life long friends.
A lifelong resident of Camarillo, he was preceded in death by his father Flavio and nephew Rudy. He is survived by his children, Caesar (Cindy), Isaac, Amber and Ruby; granddaughter Delilah, mother Eva, brother Raul and sisters Yolanda and Nancy. He also leaves behind an entire village of extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Jaime lived a very adventurous and colorful life! He always had stories to share about the people he knew and the places he’d been. Graduating from California State University Northridge, with a degree in Art and Chicano Studies, was a very proud moment for Jaime and his family. Jaime will be remembered for his artistic gifts that enabled him to have a successful career as a tattoo artist. Tattoo Niteowl’s artistry lives on, on so many people. Whether a simple line design or a more complex back piece, he took pride in making sure the final design was perfect! His artistry extended beyond his tattoo work. His skill with pencils left us with art pieces that will be cherished forever. Receiving one of his homemade cards over the years was always special. Amazingly beautiful artwork!
In keeping with Jaime’s strong pride in his roots we ask that attendees wear clothing representing the Mexican and or Chicano lifestyle. The family would like to invite you to a reception after the services to celebrate Jaime’s life. The reception will be held at Cindy and Caesar’s home.
