Jeridith (Jerry) Leon Hamon Newbury Park, California 69 years old, Passed away Monday January 18, 2010 Jerry was born March 21, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Chester & Dorce Hamon Jerry married his wife Christie September 29, 1962 in West Los Angeles, California. Jerry’s Mother and Father moved to the west coast before his first birthday and lived in different towns Ventura, Moorpark, Pomona and Santa Monica. Jerry graduated from Santa Monica H.S. during his teen years his love for cars grew. He became a expert mechanic and was involved with organized drag racing where he held state of California records in class “A” modified stock. He attended Santa Monica College where he took mechanical engineering courses. He became a machinist (tool and die). He worked for Bennett, Forro Precision, and Magnetic Technology among other. He was a top manufacturing manager. For the last 20 years Jerry has been self employed doing Home Repair taking on jobs small or large with clients to numerous to mention. His continued love of cars went from drag racing to NASACAR. Jerry loved spending time with his family taking annual fishing trips to Mammoth Lakes. But, most of all spending time with his grand children. Jerry is survived by his wife Christie Hamon, Son Steven Hamon wife Debbie, Daughter Kelly Shain husband Eric, Daughter Tiffany Krum and husband Rick. Grand Children, Kimberly Hamon, Melissa Hamon, Nicholas Hamon, Robert Hamon, Brooke Krum, Parker Krum, Daniel Hamon, Madeline Shain, Logan Krum, Great Grand Child, Ellana Hamon. Mother Dorce Hamon, Sister Marilyn Briggs Jerry was preceded in death by his Father Chester and Sister Sheryl.
