Jovita Dalangin

Jovita “Jovy” Manuebo Dalangin, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023 in Oxnard, California.

Jovy was born on February 15, 1938, in Manila, Philippines. Loving, compassionate, strong, hardworking, and selfless, Jovy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to us all. She spent most of her days cooking, watching soap operas, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed keeping the house spick-and-span, catching up with her grandkids, and talking on the phone with her sisters Fely and Tess.

Married to Romeo Dalangin (d. 2018), Jovy is survived by their four children, Rizalino, Relito, Elmer, and Michelle as well as their families. 

Visitation and liturgical services will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Perez Family Funeral Home located at 1347 Del Norte Road Camarillo, California from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Wake and burial schedule in the Philippines to follow.
