Juana Lomeli

Juana Lomeli Duarte, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, May 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Juana was born in San Jose del Castillo municipal El Salto Jalisco , Mexico, on March 8, 1950.

Juana had an incredibly warm and caring spirit. A devoted Catholic, she dedicated her life to loving and caring for those closest to her and found great joy in spending time with family. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.

Juana is survived by her husband, Ignacio; her four children, Gabriela, Ignacio, Hector, and Veronica; and her eight cherished grandchildren, Ignacio, Theresa, Anthony, Maximina, Amaya, Mariano, Marisol, and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Juana & Gregorio Duarte and grandson, Angel.

A viewing for Juana will be held at Perez Family Funeral Home in Fillmore, California, on Thursday, May 28, from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass honoring her life will be held on Friday, May 29, at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, followed by a burial ceremony at Bardsdale Cemetery.

Juana will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Juana Lomeli Duarte, amada esposa, madre, abuela y amiga, falleció en paz la noche del viernes 15 de mayo de 2026, rodeada del amor de su familia. Juana nació en San Jose del Castillo munisipio El Salto Jalisco, México, el 8 de marzo de 1950.

Juana se distinguió por su espíritu cálido y bondadoso. Católica devota, dedicó su vida al amor y cuidado de sus seres queridos y encontró una gran alegría en compartir tiempo con su familia. Su bondad, generosidad y amor incondicional dejaron una huella profunda en todos quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Ignacio; sus cuatro hijos, Gabriela, Ignacio, Héctor y Verónica; así como sus ocho queridos nietos: Ignacio, Theresa, Anthony, Maximina, Amaya, Mariano, Marisol y Gabriel. Fue precedida en la muerte por sus amados mama y papa Juana y Gregorio Duarte y nieto, Ángel.

El velorio de Juana se llevará a cabo en Perez Family Funeral Home en Fillmore, California, el jueves 28 de mayo, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:30 p.m., con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 p.m. La misa en honor a su vida se celebrará el viernes 29 de mayo a las 10:30 a.m. en St. Francis of Assisi Church, seguida de la sepultura en Bardsdale Cemetery.

Juana será profundamente extrañada y recordada siempre con amor por todos quienes la conocieron y la quisieron.
