Julia Marie Dorsey

Julia M. Dorsey, 82, was called to her Lord on January 6, 2009 after a long illness. She was born November 7, 1926 in Gardena, CA. She moved to the Oxnard area in the late 50s with her husband Charles F. Dorsey. Julia was an active member of her community. She was a past District President & member of the American Legion #48 for 54 years. She was also a past Senior Regent and member of the college of regents of the Woman of the Moose for 40 years. Julia loved to play bingo & title rummy with her friends. She is survived by her two sisters, Lily Formasari & Marie Ravenhold, 2 daughters Antoinette Middleton (husband Tom), Nancy Johnson, daughter in law Carmen Martin, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Julia is preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Dorsey and son Stephen Martin.
