Lorraine Brown Gil

d. December 4, 2008

Lorraine Brown Gil of El Rio, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to be with her sons and the Lord on Dec. 4, 2008. She was born on Aug. 19, 1940, and she resided in El Rio all of her life. Lorraine was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter dearly. She worked so hard to make life good for them. She was always concerned about her family's needs and always put them first. She had a heart of gold and was a very happy and loving person. She will be greatly missed by all her family, including all her brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and friends. The world will never be the same without her. God's Loving Angel A loving Angel came to earth one day she gave only love then she went away. Don't ever forget the love she brought. Her bright happy smile and the lessons she taught. It's hard losing someone who gave only love and goes back to her Father above. Remember her always there's no other way than know in your heart you'll be with her one day. But for now share the love and continue to say thank you, God, for my Angel who has gone away. She was preceded in death by her sons, Antonio and Andy Gil; her mother, Rebecca Brown; and father, John Brown. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Antonio Gil; son, Michael Gil. Grandchildren, Vanessa, Michael, Tony, their mother, Annie Gil. Ilene, Andreena, Randi, and Eddie Gil, and their mother Irene; and her great-granddaughter, Alize. She is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Fred Brown, John Brown, Paul Brown, Alice Garcia, Jessie Hernandez, Lydia Camacho, Pauline Velasquez, Yolanda Gutierrez, Lucille Rivas, and Ramona Golson; and many nephews and nieces who loved her dearly.
