Margoth Guzman De Mendoza

Doña Margoth Guzman de Mendoza Camarillo - Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5th, 2020, at the age of 92. She was born at home in Guamo, Tolima, Colombia on July 10th, 1928. She was the youngest of seven children. Her childhood was spent among nature, mountains, rivers, and crops of rice and coffee. She learned to ride horses and shared a lot with her dog, Kaizer. She was educated in Bogota at the Colegio de la Enseñanza de la Orden de la Compañia de Maria (Sisters of the Company of Mary, Our Lady) and continued as a novice in the same community until she met the love of her life, Mr. Eduardo Mendoza. They married in 1951 and had a lasting marriage for over 50 years. Mrs. Margoth was a person of high family values and responsibility. She showed unconditional love for her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was always an example of hard work, rectitude, and a great motivator for study and progress. She always enjoyed traveling, music and dancing, and always showed so much joy. She was a teacher, dress maker, and floral designer. After she retired she moved to the United States. Margoth is survived by her son Henry Mendoza (wife Olga, and daughters Laura Heidi and Diana Carolina), her daughters Martha L. Acero (husband Pedro A. and son Julius E.), Julieta M. Pulido (husband German, son Juan Daniel and wife Jenny and children Cecilia Rose and Blaise Owen, and daughter Ariadna Pulido) and Gloria Patricia Mendoza.
