Martin Amezquita

My passionate, crazy funny man Martin Amezquita passed away Sunday, September 18th before his 51st birthday. Cancer is horrible, but my husband fought it tooth and nail bravely EVERY day for the people he loved - his son Martin Amezquita, his fiance Brooke Leveille, all of his friends and he had many! Myself. He never gave up, he really didn't that amazing man fought every minute until he could no longer. Thank you to everyone, all during this horrible roller coaster ride. The support and love we received touched his heart more than words can say. He was not alone during those last moments, his son and I were there. He knew and understood how much he was loved, I know it is not how he wanted it to end. He would never want to leave us, my only comfort is that he is no longer in pain. I believe he is in Heaven looking down at us smiling and laughing - loudly - as always, introducing himself to everyone and making sure his name is pronounced correctly! Hanging out with Milton, his Mom and meeting mine. I will miss my big burly mountain man, he was larger than life. Intelligent, funny as hell, stubborn and loving.
