Michael Brian Velez-Noble

Michael Brian Velez-Noble, 48, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2017. Michael was born on April 17, 1969 and was the youngest child of seven. He is survived by his mother, Velma Lerma of Oxnard; daughter Cassandra Velez-Noble of Fresno, step-daughter Hailey Ward Hinojosa of Camarillo; brothers Joseph Velez-Noble of Oklahoma, Howard Velez-Noble of Oxnard, Tony Velez-Noble of Oak View, and Bobby Velez-Noble of Ojai; sisters Yvonne Bratcher of Oxnard and Mamie Velez-Noble of Camarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Michael Jr. and his father Pedro Velez-Noble. Michael was born and raised in Oxnard. He was a loving, kind, and generous man. He was always there to help anyone who needed him. A roofer by trade, Michael’s most recent job was with Best Contracting as a Project Manager. Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles, corvette runs, camping, and vacationing in Mexico. His most recent hobby was painting gnomes. A viewing will be held at the Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo on Thursday, June 1 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held in the chapel at the Perez Family Funeral Home on Friday, June 2 at 12:00 pm. Internment will follow the service at Ivy Lawn Cemetery in Ventura. Memorial gifts and/or donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with family with funeral expenses.
