Norberto "Beto" Gonzalez, 54, a longtime resident of Somis, California, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2026, in a fishing accident. He was a beloved Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother and uncle who leaves behind a legacy of generosity, warmth, and love.
Beto dedicated over 30 years of his life to Tireman in Agoura, where he built lasting relationships with countless customers who came to know him not just as a trusted professional, but as a friendly face they could count on. His work ethic and genuine care for people made him a fixture in the community.
Beto was a man who loved the outdoors with his whole heart. Hunting and fishing were among his greatest passions -- it was doing what he loved most that he spenthis final moments. He could often be found enjoying a car show or taking in a rodeo, pursuits that reflected his love of life and good times. He was a great and caring father and uncle, he had a way of making every gathering feel warmer just by being there -- and if there was a party, you could always find Beto on the dance floor. His silly sense of humor and natural gift for making people laugh made him the kind of person everyone wanted to be around.
Those who knew Beto knew a man with a deeply generous heart. He had a natural instinct to look after others, always making sure the people around him were taken care of before himself. He was the kind of person who made you feel seen and valued, and that gift left a mark on everyone he encountered.
Beto will be deeply missed by his daughters Claudia Gonzalez and Lorena Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Mario, Rigo, and Arlo; By his brothers, Mario (Christine), Raul (Mirella), Joel (Elizabeth), His sister Claudia (Ryan) and Fernando (Laura); Also by his many cherished nieces and nephews; and his beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Teresa Gonzalez. He leaves behind a vast circle of friends and a large, loving family who willcarry him in their hearts always.
