Peter J. “Jerry” Arellano

With heavy hearts and deep love, we honor the life of Peter J. “Jerry” Arellano, who was called home to be with our Lord on March 20, 2026.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved son, Adrian Arellano, his father, Donato C. Pizano, and his mother, Rachel Gallegos.

Though he endured great loss in his life, Jerry carried on with strength, resilience, and a quiet faith that guided him forward.

He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Marcelino, Victoria, Dominic, Ariana, and Jeremiah Arellano. He was also a proud and devoted grandfather to his grandson Julian, who brought immense joy to his life and was truly his pride and joy.

Jerry was known for his tireless work ethic. For many years, he worked as a longshoreman, dedicating himself to the demanding labor of cement work. He took great pride in providing for his family, and his hands reflected a lifetime of hard, honest work. Yet beyond his labor, Jerry’s greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those he loved.

He cherished time spent with family sharing stories, laughing deeply, and reminiscing about the good old days. His laughter was unforgettable, his humor uplifting, and his presence grounding.

Jerry had a rare gift for living in the moment and making others feel at home in his company.

In recent years, Jerry found peace and renewal in the Mojave Desert, where he embraced a new chapter of life. It was there that he deepened his faith, committed his life to God, and found a sense of calm and purpose that brought him true happiness.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his children, his siblings, extended family, and many dear friends.

Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories that will forever be held close in the hearts of those who knew him.

May he rest in eternal peace.
