Richard Rodriguez

Life Legacy Richard Rodriguez 68 of Moorpark peacefully left us on November 22, 2017 with his wife Yolanda and four children by his side. He was born May 11, 1949 in Ventura, CA to Jenny and Francisco Rodriguez. He attended school in Moorpark where he met his wife Yolanda. They married in 1968 and were married for 49 years. Together they raised their four children in Moorpark. Richard was raised in Moorpark the majority of his life until recently moving to Lancaster Ca after he retired. His family was the love of his life, no matter when they needed him he would always be there for them. All his grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew him as papa and they adored him. He would play his guitar and sing to them. His guitar was a big part of his life. He would always carry it around everywhere he went. He enjoyed traveling with his family and going to Las Vegas with his boys. Playing his oldies, wearing his hat, and driving his 55 Chevy is what he loved to do. He is our guardian angel now looking out for us and taking care of us like he always did. Along with memories of our dad, we will always keep him close to our hearts. Missing him but loving him more each day for everything he did for us. Love you forever Dad. Rest in Peace. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Jenny and Francisco Rodriguez. Brothers Jesus, Frank, Armando, and sister Grace. Richard is survived by his wife Yolanda Rodriguez sons Richard Jr. wife (Tina) Ronnie wife (Jackie) Daniel wife (Cassie) and daughter Christine husband (Carlos). Two brothers Ernest and Valentine Rodriguez, 13 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and his dog Nikki Yolanda and her family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time. A Mass for Richard will be held on Friday, December 8th at 10:00am located at Holy Cross Church in Moorpark. A Reception will follow at the Cosgrove Hall located at Holy Cross Church.
