Ruben “Penny” Villa

Ruben Villa also known as “penny” was tragically taken February 16, 2025 in Oxnard , CA at the age of 39 due to a tragic senseless act of gun violence.

 Ruben who was born and raised in Oxnard CA is a Beloved Son, Brother, Father, Tio, Cousin and Partner as well as a great friend who loved to make people laugh and smile. 

Ruben never failed to light up a room with his goofy personality. Ruben enjoyed watching sports , boxing and enjoyed spending time with family & friends and also loved going out on weekends with his partner Roxanna . Ruben was a hardworking man who strived to provide for his daughters , he was an amazing caring Father who loved his daughters tremendously and treasured every moment with them. 

He is survived by his four daughters Mya , Estrella, Izabella & Kamilah Villa Parents Anthony and Sandra Villa , Partner Roxanna , Sisters Monica , Rebecca , Rene Nephews Ruben , Baby Cinco , Camillo , Cruz , Nieces Aliyah , Jessica , Sirena, Great Nieces Amor , Isla and Great Nephew Dean , Also preceded in death by his brother Anthony “Cinco” Villa. 

Ruben will be remembered for the hilarious and enjoyable energy he always brought to a room . Ruben touched the lives of many that knew him for the loving person he was . We will carry him in our hearts always & forever and not a day will go by that we don’t think of him . He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
