Sarah Marie Giroux passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025. She was a radiant soul who embraced life with open arms and an adventurous spirit. Sarah left this world far too soon, buther legacy of laughter, love, and fearlessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.Born on August 30, 1986, in Ventura, California,Sarah lived with a traveler’s heart and an infectious zest for life. She had a rare gift for lighting up any room with her smile and could make a friend anywhere in the world. Her sense of fun was unmatched, and her laughter often became the soundtrack of our favorite memories. A true citizen of the world, Sarah traveled to over 60 countries, embracing every culture with curiosity, kindness, and joy. She lived her life boldly and generously, always seeking connection and meaning in every experience.Sarah was deeply committed to learning and personal growth. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) and later an Executive MBA in BusinessAdministration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joan Secor, Joe and Carol Gstettenbauer, and Parley and Dorothy Oleson. She is survived by her beloved Grandfather Larry Secor, loving parents, Allen and Linda Oleson ;her adored life partner, Jonathan Pickert; and her cherished siblings Shelli(Lee) Stevens, Haley Elson, April (Steve) Nelson, Kimberly Alvarez, Hillary(Brian) Hunt, Micaela Oleson, and Alexandria Oleson. To her many nieces and nephews Bailee, Eliza, Lyra, Sophie, Liam, Dean, Heidi, Cassidy, Lydia,Zoey, Laney, and Jonathan Sarah was more than just an aunt. She was a cheerleader, an adventurer, a confidante, and a source of endless fun.Sarah taught us all to live more adventurously, give more often, and love more openly. Her warmth, humor, and passion for life will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to know her.We will be celebrating Sarah and the life she lived on June 21st.
