Steven Chapman

September 13, 1966 — January 3, 2024

Steven A. Chapman of Moorpark passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Linda, his three children Nathan, Conner, and Lauren, his mother (Karna), stepmother (Judith), sister and brother (Tanna and Cameron), in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephew, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Edson.

Steve was born in Edina, Minnesota to Karna and the late Edson Chapman. He spent most of his childhood in Naperville, Illinois before attending the University of Arizona where he met his wife Linda. After Steve and Linda married in October 1991, they relocated to Southern California where they raised their three children; Nathan, Conner, and Lauren. Steve had a successful 32-year long career in the automotive industry where he worked for DCH Auto Group and Lithia Motors. He was a leader and mentor to many.

In his free time, Steve enjoyed golfing at Saticoy Club and spending time with his family and friends. He was a lover of all Chicago sports, most notably the Chicago Cubs. Steve spent countless summers traveling to Chicago to watch Cubs games from the right field bleachers in Wrigley Field. When Steve wasn’t watching Chicago sports, he was cheering on his alma mater: the University of Arizona Wildcats. He will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, California.
