Teresa Encinas

Teresa was born Jan 7, 1963. She passed from this earth on March 31, 2023. She lived a full life in her 60 years. She attended the California School for the Blind in Northern California from the age 8-18. There, at age 12, she met her future husband Jesse. They married after their time in school and made their home in Camarillo.

Teresa was an avid fan of television programs from her youth, especially “I Love Lucy,” “Little House on the Prairie,” and the soap opera “General Hospital.” Music was a major part of her joy including the music of the Beatles and especially Michael Jackson, whose life and legacy were her inspiration. Her 50th birthday was a celebration of her love for Michael.

Teresa was generous and kind, her expression of love was boundless and a gift to all those who were lucky enough to be the recipients. Her open expression of love was an inspiration as was her honesty and humor.

Teresa is survived by her husband Jesse, her mother Rose, her brother David (his wife Patti) and a literal neighborhood of extended family in Camarillo and Oxnard.
