Veronica Romero

Veronica Romero passed away surrounded by her family and closest friends on October 16, 2026. Born September 5th, 1982, in Oxnard, CA, to Elizebeth and Hector Romero. She is survived by her parents, brother Manuel, loving partner Esteban, and three children, Justin, Mia, and Nayeli. Veronica was the light of every room she set foot in. Always the first to smile and last to leave the dance floor, she left a lasting impression on anyone she met. Always wearing her love for her family and music on her chest, many looked to her as an inspiration during her six year battle. To go along with her love of music and dancing, she loved to play softball, go to the gym, and to let the world know how much she loved her dog Coco. Her unwavering love and support for her friends and family was such a great example of strength and courage while she fought until the very end. Her laugh, smile, and infectious energy will be sorely missed. To a wonderful loving mother, friend, daughter, sister, and partner, you will forever be missed.
